UWRI Redesign

From 2014 - 2015, I helped lead a complete web redesign for United Way of Rhode Island, moving us from Expression Engine to WordPress. Working in tandem with Oomph, Inc. and with input from all of our UWRI stakeholders, we were able to create a more modern site with clean lines that was interactive and easier to navigate for our users.

At the same time, I rewrote all of our content in a cohesive voice that was accessible and friendly with a robust blog. In the first year alone, we were able to increase our users by more than 16,000; our sessions by more than 20,000; and our form submissions tripled.

Though web moves quickly, you can still see the bones of what I helped to create at uwri.org here. The image above is the final home page of the newly designed website at launch in 2015.

Below is the original homepage prior to our redesign.
